Mawlawi Azizullah Sahaar currently serves as Chief of Staff at Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD). Throughout his career, He has held senior government positions including Acting Deputy Minister, Director of Internal Audit, Director of the Sustainable Energy Department and Director of Procurement at the Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW).
Mr. Sahaar holds both Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Religious Studies and has attended numerous seminars and conferences.
He is a native Pashto speaker and is also fluent in Dari and Arabic.
